I started Andrew Hartman Bookkeeping after spending 4+ years working in public accounting firms and watching business owners get lost in the shuffle, handed off to junior staff, getting buried in confusing reports, and left to figure out their finances on their own.

I knew there was a better way. Nonprofits & businesses deserve the same quality of financial attention that large companies get, clear books, proactive communication, and a real person who knows their business by name.

Today I currently work as the Volunteer Head of Finance at a small Nonprofit in Orlando, FL called Alliance for Autism. I am on the spectrum myself. I conducted an audit/performed bookkeeping for the year ended 2025 & prepared their financials at year end. I also filed their tax returns, which were a 990-N and a TPP return for the year ended 2025. My clients aren't just account numbers; I know their goals, their challenges, and what keeps them up at night. That personal investment is what makes the difference. When I'm not reconciling accounts, prepping financials, performing bookkeeping services, or preparing various 990s, you'll find me taking care of two cats at home, going to the gym, or trying (and usually failing) to cook healthy food.
